Objectives of the programme:
To enhance students’ learning experience and improve their language skill by exposing them to the culture, socio-politic and real life situation within the country of the target language.
The students who have joined this Immersion Programme gained deeper and wider knowledge of the Southeast Asian societies and culture. In addition, their language skill have improved impressively.
Comment:
Students built strong bond among them, become more mature and motivated toward learning of the language after the programme.
I strongly recommended this programme to be conducted regularly, to allow more students a chance to participate.
This programme also has given me a lot of new idea, and enriched my teaching expertise, which will benefit our programme.
